Please read before you place the order

Delivery time

We have stock for some of the lines listed on Double Petal’s shopping site. For these in stock, we can ship within 7days of confirming payment. For some other products that we specify as “Make specially for you upon Order”, in product detail section, we make the bag special for you after we receive the order. When customer purchase “Make specially for you upon Order” products, please allow approx. 3-7weeks till the product is made and delivery will be completed from the time of the order and payment confirmation.
Occasionally, delivery may delay due to bad weather or traffic conditions.
We are updating most recent data of stock, however in any case the product ordered is sold out, we will contact you to reimburse to your credit card.

Return policy

We absolutely cannot and do not accept any return or exchange on orders unless there is a pre-existing damage caused during delivery or mistake (wrong item was delivered) of shipment of the ordered item.
Only for the reason stated above, the purchased items are accepted for return and exchange if requested within 7 days after delivery via email*to us and local FEDEX office, and we send confirmation of receipt of these notices from customers. * (If you find any damages on the package…click here to see instruction.)

A careful packing is being guaranteed, however, any visible unexpected damage was seen on delivery when it is delivered, please open the package immediately after receipt and inspect the product fully if there is no damage on the products. (Keep the outside box and take photo of outside box, inside box and products too) If any damage on the product is found, please call to local FEDEX office to notice and at the same time contact to our office by email. (Please send email from Contact us section of homepage)

We cannot accept any return when the item was once used, or the condition that it was used before or damaged by the customer. The return must be done in full including matching belt products or products come along with clutch bags including box and wrapping cloth.

Payment method

We accept Visa®, Master®, Diners®, American Express®, Discovery® & JCB® cards. You can make secure payment via Stripe.
Please note. If the billing address does not match the address, under which your credit card is registered, the transaction will not go through. Please make sure to put “billing address” in the billing address section. Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order. Billing date is when the order has been placed.
Customers reside in Japan and have a Japanese Bank account may use bank transfer(wire). We are unable to accept bank transfer from outside Japan.  Maximum two items can be purchased at one time.

Shipment and Delivery fee

The international shipments are handled through Federal Express (FEDEX).
EU countries- FEDEX Economy and FEDEX International Priority is available.
Europe region outside EU: Only FEDEX International Priority is available
U.S., Canada, North American region: Only FEDEX International Priority is available
Oceania region, Australia, New Zealand etc. Only FEDEX International Priority is available
Inside Japan, domestic shipments are handled by Yamato service. (Takuhai-bin). The service company for delivery is not be able to be assigned by customers.

Under covid-19 unusual procurement circumstances, international EMS services are not available for most of the countries as outbound from Japan. We greatly appreciate your understanding. We work hard to obtain best available rate for secure and quick deliveries amongst many courier services.

Shipment address

Predominantly for security reasons, Doublepetal.com will not process any order for which a P.O. box address has been provided. For the same reason in Japan, Double Petal.com is unable to leave the delivered item to Takuhai-box.
The sender’s address cannot be changed after the shipment was made.
Recipient’s signature upon delivery must be obtained.

Confirmation for Order and Shipment

Once your order and payment is processed, the processed Order receipt notice will be sent to your email address by Woo commerce. *Please note, hotmail and yahoo mail users, check the junk folder, as the email tend to go in junk folder.
Soon after we sent out the ordered item, the notice of shipment will be sent via e-mail to you with a tracking number.

Customs, import Duty and VAT

You are responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. We can not responsible for any customs, duty, tax or broker fee for the international shipment.
When ordering from Double Petal’s Online Shop, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.
Orders that are shipped to countries outside of Japan may be subject to import taxes, customs duties VATs, other fees levied by the destination country.
The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties, VATs and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.
Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.

Prices are subject to change without notice, due to the change of material prices. We constantly make effort to keep high quality and reasonable cost to purchase materials. Please check online for the most current prices.
